Susan Long Associates was established in the West Midlands in 1991 by lead consultant Susan Long. Following an international marketing role with the Thomas Cook Group, Sue came to Birmingham in the 1980s to work as a senior management consultant with KPMG, where she worked on many projects to support business acquisitions, mergers, MBOs and change management.  Sue was actively involved in the early development work for the national Investors in People standard, and remains an enthusiastic advocate for the standard and its implementation in all sizes of organisations.

Now based at The Cowshed, Bickenhill, the team provides business support, consultancy and management development to a wide range of clients from both the private and public sectors. All SLA associates have a background of working with blue chip companies in a range of industry sectors.

We work alongside our clients to provide practical support and always seek to pass on skills to the directors and managers with whom we work. Through our work with hundreds of organisations, we share with our clients tried and tested business solutions and good practice.

Through our links with external funding bodies, we are often able to help our clients to access funding towards projects or training.
